University of Cagayan Valley
(UCV) Guidance Center held a Community Involvement seminar last Feb. 10, 2016
at the Greyhounds Gymnasium, UCV Balzain Campus, with the theme “Making Difference: Imparting knowledge,
sharing love, helping others.”
In order to accommodate the
thousands of second and third year students from the schools and colleges of
the university, the seminar was divided into two sessions – second years in the
morning, and third years in the afternoon.
The community involvement and
development seminar aims to enable students to share their time and energy to
help the academe and the community by building student initiative.
Needs assessment survey results
show that students need to be more involved in community development.
