University
of Cagayan Valley Math Club celebrated its first Math Day last Feb. 9, 2016 at
the Greyhounds Gymnasium, UCV Balzain Campus, Tuguegarao City, with the theme “Mathematics: Simplifies Life, Multiplies
Opportunities.”
The
event was joined by delegates from the schools and colleges of the university like
the College of Maritime Education (CME), School of Business Administration
(SBA), College of Engineering (COE), College of Social Work (CSW), School of
Criminology (SOC), School of Liberal Arts and Teacher Education (SLATE), and
College of Information Technology (CIT) who competed in the Quiz Bee, Essay
Writing, Slogan Writing, and Poster Making contests.
